The
Infirmary module is a complete module for managing the infirmary service for a school
It provides the school with an adaptable and relevant tool for the daily management of the infirmary, by allowing the entry of interventions performed by the Infirmary service. The customizable aspect of the module allows you to adapt the module to the information required by your establishment
Different functionalities are available to make the best use of the data entered, and to highlight students requiring special attention
Finally, an advanced notification system gives you the possibility to communicate and interact with the different actors involved (parents, teachers)
Centralization of student health data and information sharing
The
Infirmary module allows to gather all the data related to the health of students in order to facilitate access to information, by the health staff, but also, according to customizable authorizations, to all the actors of the establishment requiring this type of information.
- Information entered by parents during the admission process (registration, re-registration) or at any time via the update forms available to parents on their portal
- Data entered internally by the Infirmary, visible or not by parents and other members of the establishment
- Documents (attached files) relating to the health of students (medical certificates, IAP...)
In addition to this data, the Infirmary module allows health care staff to categorize
students to highlight a particularity or risk specific to a student. These 'Health' categories are fully customizable and managed by the Infirmary service, which consolidates the data collected from parents in the form of indicators. These categories are then highlighted on Eduka's various navigation screens in order to disseminate the information to the staff members concerned, or teachers, via configurable authorizations
All of this information forms the student's Infirmary Form, which also includes all the interventions entered for each student

The module gives you the possibility to
define your own types of interventions, each associated with a form and a set of data to be entered. Thus, for example, you define a specific form for the entry of a "Passage to the infirmary" by integrating into it, without limitation, the data useful for your management: date/time of arrival, reasons, diagnosis, actions etc..
Also, you can integrate a read-only reminder of useful information for your management: class, main teacher, contact of the persons in charge etc..
Each type of intervention can be entered as many times as necessary throughout the school year, allowing you to build up a history of the interventions carried out for each student year after year.
Notifications and reporting a visit to the infirmary
An automatic notification system integrated into the Infirmary module allows for interaction between the different actors involved
Automatic notifications allow, as soon as an intervention entry is published, to send a
system or e-mail notification to the parents of the student concerned, to the student's main teachers, or to targeted members of the administrative staff
These notifications are completely customizable and can be activated according to the school's wishes

This system thus makes it possible to inform the infirmary before the arrival of a pupil via an internal notification received by the Infirmary service on its Eduka portal. In the opposite direction, the infirmary will be able to warn the teacher at the origin of the notification, of the end of the intervention

Integrated document generation
The Infirmary module allows you to generate different types of documents in PDF format, based on the standard document template mode of operation of the Document Management module. This mode allows you to prepare customizable document templates containing the relevant information. For example, each type of intervention can be associated with a customizable document template, allowing you to edit a report of the intervention, if necessary, to be published in Eduka or to be sent, for example, by e-amil to the responsible persons of the concerned student
Different types of documents can be generated:
- Pupil health summary sheet: containing the main usefuldata of the pupil (marital status, class, main teacher, responsible information and other contacts, health category, allergies, IAP etc...)
- Intervention report: containing the details of an intervention entered in the Infirmary module, for example, a visit to the infirmary or a medical check-up
- Annual Student Health Record: containing all the interventions carried out during the school year for one or more pre-selected students
