In order to organize the content of your Knowledge Base, it is necessary to structure your base by creating Categories and Sub-Categories, to allow users to navigate more easily.
Also, the categories carry the notion of eligibility, which allows you to target the users who will be able to access a content category.
Create a category
To start creating your knowledge base, you first create your categories and sub-categories by going to the "Category" menu of the "Knowledge Base" module. You add your new category and a description if necessary:

To better distinguish your categories, you have the possibility to modify the icon on the right by clicking on it and choosing among the existing icons
Eligibility linked to a category
In order to target precisely which types of users will be able to access the content linked to a category, you can define an Eligibility.
When selecting a category, select "Only certain users" in the Eligibility menu, then :
- On the tab corresponding to the type of users to target, check "Enable eligibility for..."
- Depending on the type of users, you can refine your target group according to more precise criteria
It is possible to cumulate the types of people activated in the eligibility, for example activate for both Managers and Staff.
